Writer's Bio

Douglas Bean was born in a small town in Washington State, a place where it was big news when the first traffic light was installed.  Now he’s an attorney with degrees in Psychology and Philosophy.  As a programmer and the CEO of a cutting-edge legal software company, he pioneered some of the earliest applications of artificial intelligence in the area of litigation analytics.

Doug spent a large part of of his young adult life like most other kids – trying to figure out what he wanted to do.  After spending a few years in France, he met the love of his life, attended law school, and then settled down and raised a family.  Along the way he figured out he loved technology more than practicing law.

He started his first novel as a way to stave off the boredom of law school.  A few years after that the beginnings of the idea for Code Name: Goliath began percolating among his thoughts and then after another few years the manuscript was complete.

Doug has several more novels that will be published in the next few years so if you enjoy Code Name: Goliath, just wait, there’s a sequel and a few other thrillers you can enjoy.

In the meantime, enjoy Goliath… I guarantee it won’t let you down.  And feel free to reach out to me at: doug@codenamegoliath.com, I promise you’ll hear back from me.  Talk to you soon. -D
